Greetings!

It's a beautiful, warm day...the sun is shining, birds are swooping outside the shop's door and people are walking on the Avenue taking advantage of this beautiful summer's day.  It's July, and we are fully immersed in summer's warmth.  This month brings the Independence Day holiday, a time to celebrate America's history as fireworks and picnics abound.  Enjoy your July, bask in its warmth and its lazy days.  Breathe deep, let go of daily stresses, and just relax as much as you can!

Summer brings its own magic here at Celtic Myth and Moonlight.  Two-headed stained glass dragons fly amidst a new selection of colorful witch balls.  Spell bottles by Annie weave their own special magic within the shop, while colorful peacock silk/velvet scarves show off their vivid beauty.  Iron Fairies are here bringing with them their own "bit of attitude".  Found in tunnels deep within the gardens of Australia, they need only a sprinkling of fairy dust and sunlight to set their spirits free.

On Saturday, July 11th, Vladimir Cucura will be in the shop offering healing Reiki Treatments.  Scheduled from 11 AM to 4 PM, Vladimir offers 15-minute, 30-minute, and 60-minute sessions at a cost of $15.00, $30.00, and $60.00 respectively.  Just call our shop to book your appointment, or stop by to meet and speak with Vladimir about the healing powers of Reiki.

Tarot Readings by Waterfae will be offered in the shop on Wednesday, July 8th from 1 PM to 5 PM.  Naomi's readings are $10.00 each, with no appointment necessary at this time.  Stop by to meet Naomi and to see what your future might offer!

Readings by William will be held in the shop on Tuesday, July 14th from 1 PM to 5 PM.  William is a high priest of Palo Mayombe and has a few Santeria initiations.  Williams uses a combination of tarot, chamalongo (coconut), or nkobo (cowrie shells) to give a complete reading.  Sessions are $21.00.  At this time, William is completely booked up for July 14th.

Geri Ebert will be in our shop on Saturday, July 18th from noon through 4 PM offering Animal Communication Readings.  Geri's desire is to facilitate communication and understanding between you and your pet to open your hearts together.  When animals are understood, there is a nurturing, refreshing connection.  Geri's readings are $1.00 per minute, with a minimum of 15 minutes per session.  Please call the shop to book your appointment, or stop by to meet Geri and learn more about the connection between humans and their pets. Pictures of your pet are welcome for your reading, but are not necessary. Please feel free to contact our shop if you have any questions.

Robert Moyer will be in the shop on Saturday, July 25th from noon through 4 PM offering his intuitive Tarot Readings.  Bob's readings are 30-minutes at a cost of $30.00 per session.  Please contact the shop to book your appointment.

The Celtic Oyster Fest is being held on Saturday, August 22nd at St. Benedict's Gove, Route 10, Mohnton.  Held from noon through 9 PM, the fest features vendors, an oyster eating contest, food, and live entertainment.  Admission is $9.00 at the gate, or $7.00 in advance.  Kids 12 and under are free.  Visit their web site at www.celticoysterfest.com for further information.

The Reading Pagans and Witches group presents the "Celebrating Earth Spirituality Festival" on Saturday, September 12th.Held from 10 AM to 6 PM at Stoudtburg Village, Adamstown, the festival features a day of education, merriment and shopping.  Donations are accepted, and they will also be collecting non-perishable food items to help those in need.  Visit their web site at www.readingpagansandwitches.com/CESFest.htm for further information.

Celtic Myth and Moonlight is proud to present award-winning author Dorothy Morrison in our shop on Tuesday, October 13th.  Dorothy will be in the shop offering Tarot readings in the afternoon, followed by a book signing and "meet and greet".  Dorothy will also be offering an evening workshop at 7 PM.  Mark your calendars for this special event.....more information to follow!
