"The Conversion of the British Isles" LectureTavia Minnich will be presenting a lecture and research paper on “The Conversion of the British Isles ” at the shop. Tavia will discuss the conversion process involving Christian missionaries and leaders. The use of the Pagan holidays and gods in Christianity will be explained on importance and difficulties of the change. Responses from Christian missionaries containing information of the issues they faced will also be discussed. Tavia researched this topic in order to uncover the truth of the conversion that has been lost centuries after. The paper and cited documents will be available for viewing. Tavia is a graduate of Kutztown University, and currently works at the Museum of Indian Culture in Allentown, PA. The class is free, but donations are appreciated.
