March, 2010 Newsletter |

Greetings! When I was a child, I had to memorize a poem about the months of the year. I remember part of it that read “March brings breezes loud and shrill, stirs the dancing daffodils”. Well, the winds are blowing but it’s snow that’s dancing outside right now, and I hope to see those swaying daffodils sometime soon! It’s been a long winter for us, and I know most are feeling very weary with its length. Yet the subtle changes of spring are around us, one only has to look to find its treasures hidden beneath the snow. Spring begins on March 20th and the greening will begin. Soon all remnants of snow will be gone, and we can look forward to warmer temperatures coming our way as longer days overtake the darkness of night. And hopefully we’ll see those yellow daffodils sometime soon! The month of March brings a special event to Celtic Myth and Moonlight as we celebrate our 7-year anniversary! I’m amazed how time has gone by, and I look back on the past seven years with a special fondness. It’s been a crazy ride, marked by a roller coaster cycle of events and emotions, stirring up memories of many highs and lows. Yet it’s been a ride worth taking, and I am so happy to be here. I can only say thank you to all my friends who have made Celtic Myth and Moonlight what it is today, and I look forward to many more years riding the waves of life here in the shop.
