Greetings!

I find it amazing that we are already heading into the month of February!  Winter has been kind to us so far, with only a small spattering of snowflakes cast about to remind us of the season we are in.  The landscape is bleak right now, with bare tree branches spreading out their arms as they crease the gray sky with their artful magic.  Still deeply entrenched in winter, there is hope of a spring yet to come.  And though it seems far away right now, tiny shoots of life will soon emerge from the brown earth and the wheel will turn the season into spring. February marks the Celtic Sabbat of Imbolc, also known as Bride's Day.  It is a wonderful time to light candles to guard against the cold and to bring warmth and brightness into your home.  We honor Brighid, Mary of the Gael, a powerful female figure of light, hearth, and home who stirs her cauldron of inspiration, creativity and protection.  May this season bestow many blessings to you and your families, and may we all embrace hope as we soon leave winter for the greening of spring.

Springtime and gardening are on our minds here at Celtic Myth and Moonlight.  I know I'm ready to make the slow journey into spring! Iron chimes made of leaves and bells tinkle their magic as you walk by a colorful display of hanging pottery plant and candle holders.  Tiny pottery mushrooms spring from formations of rock, as volcanic stone owls oversee all with their wisdom and earthy magic.  A new shipment of fairies have arrived, casting their magic throughout the store.  There's even a "Water Dragon" fairy to celebrate the Chinese Year of the Dragon!  I hope that your next journey into the store fills you with the magic of springtime warmth! 

February also marks Valentine's Day.  In honor of this special day of love, we are offering 15% off all jewelry purchases from February 1st through February 14th!  Happy Valentine's Day to you!

Spiritual Readings by Grace are being held on Thursday, February 16th from 1 PM to 4 PM.  Gracey Lau is a minister and counselor who has been reading Tarot for 35 years.  She sees the Tarot deck as a story of our path through life on the physical, mental, intuitive, and spiritual planes.  The focus of her readings is you, and the potentials and possibilities you are working with.  Gracey was born and raised in the deserts of Arizona and moved to the Reading area a few years ago.  She looks forward to reading for you.    Grace’s readings are 30-minutes in length at a cost of $20.00 per session.  Please contact the shop to book your appointment.

Tarot and Tea readings by Robert Moyer will be held on Saturday, February 18th from noon through 4 PM.  An exciting new twist on divination, have a tea reading as well as a Tarot reading.  See what comes up for you for the future.  What is the difference?  None!  One will enhance the other.  This will be incorporated into your half-hour session.  Try it!  It will be fun to see what the leaves say!  Bob is also available for regular Tarot and Rune castings.  Readings are 30-minutes long at a cost of $30.00 per session.  Please call the shop to book your appointment. 

Ongoing Tarot Shares  are being held the third Thursday of the month at the Raphael School of Healing Arts in Shillington beginning February 16th from 7:30 to 9:30 PM.  Bring your favorite deck and share your knowledge and interest of Tarot.  Love donation requested.  Bob will also be teaching a Tarot 1 Class on February 25th from 1 to 5:30 PM, again held at the Raphael School of Healing Arts.  He will be teaching a Tarot 2 Class following the first on Saturday, March 3rd.  Please call the Center at 484-793-5425 for sign-up and further details.

Readings by William are being held on Tuesday, February 21st from 11 AM to 5:00 PM.  William is a High Priest of Palo Mayombe, and weaves his special magic into every reading.  Sessions are 30-minutes at a cost of $21.00 per reading.  Please contact the shop to book your appointment.

Matthew "Cat" Orifice will be in the shop on Saturday, February 25th from noon through 4 PM offering Tarot Readings.  Matthew has been an active follower of the natural path for 25+ years.  Experienced in Tarot and other forms of divination, Cat will be offering tarot readings as well as a unique stave style reading and a pendulum-based energy flow reading; all excellent tools to assist you on your quest for personal self-development.  Cat's readings are 30-minutes with a cost of $20.00 per session.  Please contact the shop to book your appointment.
